A set-top box for operators and users worldwide
With MAG544w3 set-top boxes, users can enjoy Linear TV, video-on-demand, and IPTV/OTT content¹. The devices play content from the Internet, local network, and external media. Operators are welcome to customize these set-top boxes to suit their projects, providing users with a unique interface, user experience, and reliable technical support.

High-performance Amlogic S905Y4 chipset
The new Amlogic S905Y4-B chipset and quad-core ARM Cortex-A35 CPU boost the performance of the MAG544w3 compared to the previous generation of MAG boxes. All of these technical features help the UI to work fast and play content smoothly.

4K HDR video at 60 fps
MAG544w3 set-top boxes support AV1 and HEVC codecs which enables them to play 4K content without overloading the Internet connection². While H.264 requires 32 Mbps to process video, HEVC requires only 16 Mbps³.

Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity
Offers two options to connect to the Internet: a 100 Mbps Ethernet port and a built-in Wi-Fi module. Wireless connectivity operates in two bands: 2.4 GHz with speeds up to 100 Mbps and 5 GHz⁴ with speeds up to 550 Mbps.

Fast integration via API
Infomir offers its in-house API that makes integrating content protection systems and software development easier. You can develop apps for MAG set-top boxes powered by Linux OS as webpages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Operators can create client apps for middleware, and system integrators can release software for hotels, camps, and cruise ships.

Dolby Digital Plus surround sound
Backed by eight-channel Dolby Digital Plus™ audio, you can connect seven audio speakers and a subwoofer to your set-top box. This way, you evenly distribute audio tracks in space and let users enjoy an immersive experience while viewing content⁵.

Fast and easy transition from legacy MAG models
MAG544w3 are easy to integrate into an existing video service where legacy MAG set-top boxes have already been in use. It only takes a few lines of code to make it happen.

Customization and branding
Operators can personalize MAG devices to suit their projects. At the client's request, we can provide customization services to add operator brands to packaging, set-top boxes, or remote controls, as well as customizing the device software.

Perfect for hotels and cruise ships
These devices can be used offline. MAG544/544w3 play content stably from both external media and NAS servers. Hotels, restaurants, cafes, cruise ships, and places without access to the Internet can enjoy this feature.

Modern programmable remote control
The MAG544w3 comes with a programmable IR remote control made of anti-slip ABS plastic. It’s durable—each button is designed to withstand 300,000 presses.

You have the option to set up code pages and IR systems. This way, you configure the remote control so that it avoids interfering with other devices in the room; or, instead, it can control the TV, air conditioner, and other devices equipped with an IR receiver.

USB ports for connecting peripherals
The set-top box comes with two USB 2.0 ports. With these, you can connect various peripherals to the device, such as audio speakers, keyboards, and mice. This makes entering text and using the built-in web browser much easier.

Reliable and smooth playback
The set-top box can play content stably for months on end without shutting down or rebooting.
