U6-IW is a MU-MIMO WiFi 6 access point from the UniFi family, which is designed to be built into a data box on the wall. The wireless part is Dual Band, in the 5 GHz band it supports 4x4 MU-MIMO with a maximum modulation speed of 4804 Mbps and in of the 2.4 GHz band, it is 2x2 MIMO with a modulation speed of 574 Mbps. Power supply is 802.3af/at or passive PoE 44 to 57 V DC. In the case of using the PoE passthrough function, the maximum power on the output port is 15.4 W. The device is supported by UniFi Controller version 6.4.52 and later.

In addition to the incoming Gigabit port on the back, it also has another 4 Gigabit ports on the bottom, where the PoE passthough function can be used on the first of these ports.

Central control of the unit
For the device, you need to download the original software called UniFi controller from the official website, thanks to which the entire network can be controlled. The indisputable advantage of the UniFi controller is that it is completely free without any restrictions! This central management will allow you to upload maps and set basic parameters such as SSID, guest account, start page, traffic statistics and the list and status of associated clients always easily and quickly.
